About Us

The business was founded in 1965 by Ron Glendenning and is now owned and operated by Ron’s sons Stuart and Miles Glendenning. Garland Products is the company’s garden product division. The company also operates an industrial moulding division, operating as Glendenning Plastics Ltd supplying a wide variety of plastic parts to a diverse customer base. In all, the company operates more than 25 injection moulding machines with capacity up to 1500 tonnes. Products are manufactured 24 hours a day, across 3 shifts, with the company employing just over 100 members of staff.

Stuart Glendenning – Chairman  

Stuart Glendenning – Chairman

Stuart has worked for the business for nearly 40 years. He has huge experience of the plastic injection moulding industry and oversees the company’s manufacturing operations. Stuart is a passionate gardener and enjoys fishing and classic cars.

Miles Glendenning – Managing Director  

Miles Glendenning – Managing Director

Miles joined the business in 1994. With a background in marketing, he oversees the commercial operation and forward strategy of the business. A young family prevents him from spending as much time in the garden as he would like!  A keen rugby follower, Miles dreams of trophies for his team, Worcester Warriors, but accepts that he might have to wait a good while longer!

Tony Dedman – Operations Director  

Tony Dedman – Operations Director

Tony has been involved in the garden industry for over 45 years and is widely known and respected in industry circles. Tony has an in built determination to set the highest possible customer service standards with excellent stock availability and fast order fulfilment being the key drivers. Tony spends his leisure time in the garden or at the bowls or golf club.

Mark Dedman – Sales Director  

Mark Dedman – Sales Director

Mark is the principal contact for our trade customers. Mark spent the early years of his career at a plant nursery and major South East garden centre, giving him a natural understanding of what our trade customers require. With an excellent grasp of new technologies, Mark has made significant improvements to our sales operation. Mark enjoys his time outside of work with his wife and 4 children and if gets any spare time (ha!) he can be found in the garden or on the golf course.
