Instructions for use:
Use the wiper with a hand hold to steady yourself.
Use the wiper on flat, firm, steady surface.
Fold the foot plates, before moving your wiper.
For permanent fixing:
Use the fittings supplied and screw through the holes in the securing plates located in the bottom of the wiper.
For slabs and concrete, mark the holes and drill 4 holes with a masonry drill, insert the plastic plugs and screw the wiper down securely.
Once secured leave the foot plates securely folded up.

Is the Wellie Wiper free standing or does it need to be fixed down?
It is both free standing or can be fixed down. The Wellie Wiper has side plates that fold down and you stand on either side while you brush your other foot. If you want to fix it down, then there are mounting holes at the bottom and the fixings are supplied.
