Why can I not leave my cushions on my furniture when covered?

We do not recommend you leave your cushions out under cover in anyway. The reason for this is they can get damaged by condensation, when it rains, water on the floor under the cover evaporates up under the cover and can then easily soak in to soft furnishings. The furniture is designed to be outdoors in all weather, covered or uncovered and condensation is not a problem for the furniture, however cushions are not designed to be left out and can easily become musty and mouldy if they are subjected to prolonged dampness.

There is water on my furniture after it has rained, is my cover leaking?

No, this is just condensation, this happens when it rains, water runs under the cover on the ground and then when it evaporates it cannot escape and may settle on flat surfaces. This can be a lot of water at times, but the furniture is designed to be outdoors in all weathers, so it will not harm your furniture and will disperse after a while.

My cover seems a bit short on the height?

The covers are designed to be off the ground by between 10cm to 15cm, this is to help airflow under the cover which in turn helps to reduce condensation build up.

My cover comes off on windy days?

Simply use the pull cord to slightly tighten the cover and pull the cord lock tight, you can also just put a small knot behind the cord lock to stop it slipping. You do not need to pull the bottom really tight, it just needs to be a touch narrower than the top. If your cover is in a very wind position, then we do offer Wind Secure Clips which clip on to the cover at any point so you can tie the cover to a table or chair leg.
