Garland Acquires New Warehouse

This year has been a busy one, but more is on the way. Following the devastating fire at the end of 2023, we have been working  tirelessly  to take steps forward for a brighter future. That day has now come and the hard work of this year has been rewarded with us securing a new warehouse, only 700 yards from our main factory. This new warehouse means a significant increase in space over the building we lost and it is a much more modern, purpose built warehouse facility. The new warehouse has some refurbishment work to get completed, but we will be ready for us to take full occupation from 1st May 2025. This new site will bring a host of benefits, including more space, greater efficiencies between factory and despatch, and it will become the home of a brand new 3000 sq ft trade showroom.

We have already completed a big refit in the factory this year, with over 50% of the factory being re racked, to gain over 1500 additional pallet spaces. We have then further improved our factory operation with the factory now being fully integrated in to our warehouse management software. This means we have greater visibility of our raw materials, right the way through production and in to the finished products. This will give us the ability to plan, produce and supplier products more effectively and efficiently for the future.
