I cannot get the aerator to go in to the ground am I doing something wrong?
You are possibly using it at the wrong time of year, aeration should be done in late autumn or early spring when the ground is well saturated and easy to dig or turnover in the borders. Many try to use this kind of tool in the middle of summer when the ground can be like concrete. This tool is all about early preparation.
