Aqua Lock Self Watering Hanging Baskets : G65/G66
Our Aqua Lock Hanging Baskets save plants, save water and save effort for the user! The unique design of the Aqua Lock features a twist lock detachable water reservoir which is connected to the hanging basket via a capillary wick. This ensures ‘self watering’ as the plants in the hanging basket draw water from the reservoir automatically by capillary action.
Traditional hanging basket watering wastes as much as 80% of the water through spillage. By refilling the water reservoir, it is possible to target the water directly to the roots where it is needed most and wastage is minimised. It is also easy to check when you need to water your hanging baskets, simply unscrew the water reservoir and if empty, fill with water. Watering is made safer and less strenuous as there is no need to lift heavy watering cans. If users do decide to water conventionally from above, there are drainage holes in the base of the hanging basket which will direct at least some of the surplus water (which would normally be lost) to the water reservoir.
Unlike other so called self watering hanging baskets (which are solid sided hanging tubs), the Aqua Lock can be planted through the side wall to achieve the classic flower cascade.
We offer two sizes of Aqua Lock Hanging Basket- 33cm (13 Inch) and 41cm (16 Inch). Both sizes are supplied with strong ‘double jack’ chain. The mouldings are manufactured from recycled polypropylene.

Self Watering Plant Tray : G70
In essence, this is a mini capillary table which will keep potted plants watered for up to 14 days. The unit features a base reservoir tray which contains a ‘stilted’ inner support platform which is covered in capillary matting.
The base tray provides a reservoir of 8 litres of water. By ensuring that compost exposed at the bottom of plant pots is in contact with the capillary matting, the plants will water themselves! Invaluable for keeping plants watered for those going away on holiday. The size of the unit also makes it particularly useful for use in greenhouses.
The base tray and inner support platform are manufactured from recycled plastic - polypropylene and polystyrene respectively.

Self Watering Windowsill Plant Tray : G71
Windowsills can offer ideal light conditions for house plants, so this windowsill sized self watering tray will be of value to all home owners as well as being particularly useful as a holiday watering system. Once filled with water, it will keep potted plants watered for up to 14 days.

Big Drippa Watering Kit : G77
A gravity fed watering system offering the benefits of drip watering at a low price. As the Big Drippa is a self contained system, it is ideal for use in areas where there is no mains water supply. Often likened to a hospital I.V. Kit, the system features a 10.5 Litre water reservoir bag, 5 metres of irrigation tube and 6 adjustable drippers.
The system can be fitted to standard greenhouse extrusions using the hardware included in the kit. The reservoir will drain over a 24 hours (depending on flow rate of each dripper) which will ensure plants are sufficiently watered for a two day period - ideal if you are away for the weekend.
The water reservoir bag and tubing are made from recycled PVC and the drippers from polycarbonate.
